Omaha steaks (or similar). Questions and reccs?
Want to send something yummy for a family of four.
What would you recommend? And from where?
Never did this before so any tips are appreciated. Thanks :)

Is the family local? You can always get something delivered from somewhere near them. We have had bens deli sent to us.
Omaha steaks is also great. Main dish, some sides and dessert.
Edit. If you do use Omaha steaks go through ebates bc it's 5% cash back.

We were once sent Omaha Steaks as a gift! It was AWESOME! They have different packages. We got 4 steaks, 4 loaded baked potatoes, burgers and hotdogs! (It was summer). Everything was delicious! It's just me and DH and DD is 2...the steaks and potatoes aren't huge. It was def enough for us and DD though.
There is an Omaha Steaks store right outside the Smith Haven Mall near Barnes and Noble of you're interested. :)

We have done Omaha Steaks as gifts many times, and everyone loves them. If your gift is one of the larger packages, you may want to just make sure the people you are gifting to will have freezer space!

My MIL always sends us Omaha steaks...we get sirloins, burgers, hot dogs, stuffed sole, chicken and baked potatoes. Delicious!

We get Omaha Steaks from my FIL every Christmas.
We LOVE the filet mignon, bacon wrapped top sirloins, hamburgers and stuffed baked potatoes.
We stick to beef choices. We have been given the stuffed sole, the salmon and the chicken in the past and thought all 3 were disgusting. We threw them all out.
The apple caramel tartlets are also DELICIOUS.

google "The Salt Lick". It's a resturant in Austin, TX and is SO FREAKIN' GOOD!
They deliver.
