Is'nt being eight weeks pregnant like being 2 month pregnant?

I am looking at charts and it runs from 7 weeks then to two months?

When do you start/stop counting your pregnancy in terms of weeks to months?

I always counted in weeks because that is what the Dr did.

I converted the weeks to months because for the non counting moms, I'd get a blank look when I would say the number of weeks I was pregnant.

It would go like this:
8 weeks = 2 months pregnant
9 weeks = a little over 2 months
10 weeks = 2 & a half months
11 weeks = almost 3 months
12 weeks = three months or just finished my first trimester.

eta. you count from the date of your last period (not sure if that's what you were originally asking)
