Okay...it sure is pretty, but I hate driving in the snow!
Totally have to get in the shower and get ready for work; hope it's not too bad a drive...

Luckily for me, it didn't start snowing significantly until I was almost at work. When I left the house, there wasn't anything falling. By the time I got to the office, the ground was almost covered. I could just barely make out the parking space lines.

Over here in Bethpage it is really just starting to come down. When I left my house at 6:40, it wasn't snowing yet

I skid 3 times on the way to work!! i started shaking!! I hate driving in the snow. Stupid me saw the LIE was crowded so I took the side roads--BAD idea since the snow wasnt plowed or sanded on them!!

I left Ft Salonga at 6:30am and the flurries just started. On my way into East Meadow, I saw at least four accidents on the Northern State ... one eastbound where an SUV was facing the opposite direction and was up against the concrete divider!

YUK!  People just cant take an extra second to slow down a little. On my way to Bohemia from Riverhead I passed 6 accidents!

I didn't find it icy or bad out; but I work on 110 and there was like a 10-car accident at the left turn I need to make onto my road. Took me FOREVER to get in.

Oh my god, driving was so bad!!
Park Avenue in Huntington was a sheet of ice, I told DH I MUST Get an SUV after today, I did so many 180's, snow is so pretty but I hate driving in it

I had to drive on 110 too, and it was so backed up north of the LIE. I figured it was an accident, but because of all the volume of cars, there wasn't any snow left on the road. I guess I should be thankful I left a little late for work today, otherwise I would have been sliding too!
Silly me to think we would have actually made it through this winter without any snow.

exactly. We have a Pathfinder. Better in heavy snow, but in ice, you just have to take your time and keep distance between yourself and other cars.
