ok so boarding i found out for my dogs might be more harmful...
so now I figure if I make a shed size dog house with a small couch from my house and blankets and either a tv or a radio with lights, do you think that would work.. Being once the house starts I am not allowed there but people are going to come and go all day so I figure if I have a dog door inside of a regular door and block the dog door at night, that would be ok right? Please some feed back! TIA!
The cats are all going to go to my neighbors. She runs a cat rescue so she will be able to take them , the down side they will have to be in crates but it is ok it's only a month.

I'm sorry, remind me, where are you going to be while they are staying in the shed? will you be able to stop by and check on them?
why is boarding more harmful, how old are the dogs?
are they used to having full run of the yard during the day? I mean, are they used to go thru a doggie door whenever they want?
I would be worried about any extreme weather--really heavy rain...

there will be other people here everyday.i was told to stay away untill it's done because ron wants it to be a surprise. yes they still will have run of the yard all day. at night they never go out past 9 so they will just stay in the shed. it will have strong walls and and roof and rasied off the ground a little so if it rains it will not go in and windows. the door will be a normal size with a dog door cut out so they can go in and out as they please but at night when everyone leaves someone will make sure they have water and food and ar good for the night. one dog is 12 and they other is 13.

I'm just thinking that they might feel somewhat abondoned if they don't see you...it;s good that other people will be there, but they'll be missing you.

i Know they will they do now and it kills me and so do my cats but i have no other alternatives. i tried to find out about getting a trailor somewhere but the parks are only open thurs. thru sun. at least for the most part someone will be here at any given time!as long as someone is around i think they will be ok! maybe in the next 3 weeks something will come up only time will tell!
