Ok so 3 days and 3 busted lips ......i really could use a hug ...
i am so upset right now 
we have hard wood floors and our son is not yet walking but is crawling around really fast and keeps going down on his face when his legs dont catch up to his hands 
i am just beside myself with worry every time i put him down he is constantly getting bumped and bruised at the moment i know he will grow out of this stage but i just wish its comes soon.
his lips look like Mick Jager right now
and after we clean up all the blood( and boy do the lips bleed ) im about to pass out and he is happy to be crawling again 
i just needed some hugs as i know tommorrow will bring more of those stomach wrenching screams as he gets hurt again please tell me it will get better

Aw, poor baby...and mommy! I think for a little boy, it's just the beginning of the injuries! I hope he gets the hang of things soon!

Hannah used to crawl with her head down and crash head first into all the walls (wasn't funny at the time, but I can laugh about it now!!)
Now that she's walking she's always tripping over herself or a toy or me, etc. She has more bruises on her legs than I can count. She's bumped her mouth and her teeth have bled, her head is always bruised too. She's very active and doesn't ever sit still.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I would just get used it!! It's just the beginning
Hope he starts slowing down

I have to agree with Jodi. Prepare yourself for what's to come. It's so exciting to see them get more mobie, but the more they move, the more they get hurt. DS decided to climb out of his crib today. And to be honest, after months of bumps and falls, a small part of me kind of laughed that he was clever enough to get out.

Once my sister learned to walk she had the permanent implant of our floor on her forehead for 3 years
Active kids are always getting bumps and bruises.

DS has fallen and bumped his head so many times from learning to crawl and than standing on his own and now walking holding on I lost count. I asked the dr. if he could get brain damage from all this He laughed and asked me if I have brain damage b/c we all have gone through it and all did the same thing.
