ok i have a 4 month dr appt
on monday and dd starts on solids...ya know i never really asked what that meant..they just mentioned rice cereal..but does that mean like applesauce and fun stuff like that too?

We just started rice first, then after a week barley and a week after that oatmeal. I am not sure about the fun stuff, we go back on Wed. for her 5 month so we will see. I guess every doc is different but I think once you start solids, a new one is introduced every week.

We started 4 days of each cereal at breakfast and dinner. After he got through those I added stage 1 veggies with his lunch bottle, each veggie for 4 days. Once he got through those I added fruit to breakfast. It went like this up to 6 months. HTH
