do any of you have an issue where you will need to take blood thinners during your pg?

A friend of mine went through this during pg. She has a family history of a blood disorder and during her pg she had problems with clotting. She was in the hosptial a few times but in the end the delivery and baby were fine.

i have an issue with the protein s, which deals with the clotting of blood. mine is estrogen related so when i used any bc it would put me in danger. thank god ive never had a clot but my mom had a stroke when she was younger and im scared! the plan right now is to use luvonox while pg and a few months post partum. i just saw my dr to get tested for the last time so in three weeks ill know for sure. thanks again!
