Off to my IVF plan consult.....
Wondering if you guys have any advice or questions that you had wished you had asked at your plan consult...I always have a ton of questions and then I get there and I'm like "DUHHHHHHH"....I'm taking a planner along with me to take notes in...Thanks !!!!!!

Write all your questions down first...thats what I did before I went for my consult. Made it so much easier and then I wasnt overwhlemed thinking that I forgot to ask something. And the doctor was more than willing to answer them all. Good luck

I had all my questions ready and by the time the Dr was done she had already answered everything.. Try not to worry and don't get overwhelmed. Like my Doc said "this is just and overview so that when we instruct you exactly you have a vague idea of hearing it before"
Just take it what you can in and remember you will get much more detailed information when you are going through it.

No, the doctor didn't go over that with us, but my nurse did a few days later.
We're taking some time off from all this and will be starting back up next month with the Lupron. I'm scheduled to begin stims on 3/1 with my retrieval on or about 3/12.

Mine gave me that the whole process was about 7 weeks from start to finish.. but anything can change with that timeline.. I am sure they can give you an estimate and than you can map it out on the calendar like I did.

I went in with a basic knowledge of what I was getting into. She just clarifyed exactly how they do things there. As for timeline, she gave me a general idea of when things would happen, but I ended up getting pushed back 4 weeks because of a cyst so nothing is set in stone!! Good luck
