NYC Restaurants/Entertainment for Kids
Does anybody know of any fun restaurants in the city that have entertainment for kids? My friends and I are looking for a fun place to eat an early dinner with our kids before we head out to see Walking with Dinosaurs

Dinner in times square is fun, then you can go to the M and M store.
I LOVE Bubba gump shrimp. Thats a fun place to eat. And you ask to eat dinner in the small "house".
But after that go to the m and m store. Toys R us is right there too.

Mars 2012.... at 51 Street and Broadway.
it could use an updating... but still pretty fun.... you have to take a ride in a simulator to mars before you can eat....

We were just there for my birthday!
The simulator is not working right now, so you actually have to "walk" to Mars!
But I will say it was fun for DS. He was entertained watching the Martians walking around and all the singing of "Happy Birthday" going on around us! I think everyone there was having a birthday!
It was neat, but I agree with Andrew... could be updated a bit!

DEFINITELY Ellen's Stardust Diner!
50's style diner where the waitstaff are all aspiring broadway singers,,Thay are great!!! They don't just sing b'way, they do Lady GaGa, Grease, Jay Z, you name it...My 4 year odl daughter LOVES it & there are always kids of all ages ther when we go.

I was going to recommend the same place. My niece and nephew loved it!

I took my HS sports/entertainment marketing class to mars 2112 last year and they loved it.

just came back from mars...used a restaurant.com certificate, def check it out...2.00 for 25.
it is probably because dh runs a restaurant and he is a clean freak...the restrooms in mars were filthy. like i stuck to the floor. others probably aren't bothered though

I have been to Jekyll & Hyde and it was awesome for kids. The whole time your there they do small acts, or spooky people walking around, very fun for kids!
