Nursery Photos
What I really love about the room is the little touches of things that are special to me are in the room. The yellow chair that is next to the dressing table was my dad’s when he was young. It was actually his grandmothers rocking chair. And over the years it just got trimmed down. So it became a child chair. My dad had it and then I had it and now it’s on to another generation. The yellow george on the chair, when I was a baby, I had gotten very sick and puked all over my curious george, my mom had to wash it and I was going nuts because george was my security blanket. So desperate times call for desperate measures and my dad ran out to the store thinking he could get me a temporary replacement so I would at least calm down. Well my curious george had a red shirt. He gets me george with a yellow shirt. Lets just say it wasn’t pretty. But I’ve still kept him around. Then I have my you need a hug pooh doll on the corner stand. There is a wall hanging that has to go up. It’s a needlepoint that was given to my mom for me when I was born. It has the prayer now I lay me on it.
Waiting on the glidder and it's going to go in that corner where those 2 small boxes are. I have to sort through those boxes. It's mostly odd's and ends. In the closet is the second swing that was given to us.

We have the same figurine of the parents holding the baby. My BIL and SIL gave it to me for Christmas.

It's a natural stain. So far I love it. Between the changing station and armoire I have a lot of storage space. I am sure once he gets here I'll be filling it with more things, but for now I definately have plenty of space for all his things
