sometimes they check the card to make sure you are the actual member..
its worth the membership if you shop there often.

i thought someone told me once that online one doesn't have to be a member...never tried it though so i have no idea...

You need to enter your card number when you order online and then show your card when you pick them up. I have used 2 different cards, they have never even looked. But you MUST have a card. I have gotten photo cards there at least 10 times.
