- The head sculpture in the hallway...
- Is that mold or smoke on the walls in the hallway?
- I'm not quiet sure what to look at in the dining room!

OMG!!!
That wallpaper totally reminds me of a house we lived in when we lived in CT. Our kitchen had wallpaper like that until my mother re-wallpapered. I think that's why I hate wallpaper so much!!!

Sadly, in Manhasset (v. Manhasset Hills) I've seen even worse...for OVER a million. It's insane. People are buying a million dollar house nowadays just to knock it down and build a three million dollar one! It's nuts!

I was thinking the same thing .. that maybe there were financial reasons they couldn't update .. or other obligations.
Most of our house had been updated .. but certain areas could use help .. however with our crazy schedules and with money being what it is .. especially this BS with gas prices .. everything's just on the backburner .. not sure for how long.

Judging by the furniture in most of the pics, and the last pool party pic... look at the boy's bathsuit late 70's/early 80's... that's an old picture... I would guess this house is being sold by an older couple who haven't renovated much in twenty years.
