Now 3 More School in Queens Just Closed, Bringing It To A Total of 9 Schools, Wondering If My School Could Be Next...
How nuts is this ladies? I teach in an elem school in Queens (in East Elmhurst), live on LI though and when I left on Friday the nurse suspected two children may have the flu and my friend had 8 children out in her class Friday, hummm...its getting kind of scary.We shall see...

I know what you mean! It's actually very scary! I'm surprised that my school hasn't had any reported cases yet.... we are so close to two of the schools that closed last week.... I guess we just have to wait & see & hope for the best.

My mother is also a teacher at a school in Queens right next to two of the schools that are closed. Whats pretty messed up is that her children share the school bus with some of the children that attend the closed school.
