DEFINITELY!!!! these were my favorite. i need my cup of coffee in the morning to function with those kids!
Also, any type of gift card to businesses close to the school for lunch, etc.

I've only taught one year....and I'm a music teacher so I don't get as many gift cards. I loved the barnes & noble cards! I could do without starbucks & DD but that's just me- not a coffee drinker!
At the end of the year one parent gave me a $50 gift card to Nordstrom's! Needless to say these parents have

I've received Amex, Visa, Macy's Bloominddales, gap, barnes and nobles and when i had first moved into my apartment, a mom got a g/c to bed bath and beyond 
Trust me...none go unused. IT's a very nice gesture!
