Northport - East Northport School District - Safety Message Alert!

As we remain vigilant to protect our children, it is important that you are aware of an incident that took place on Tuesday, May 19th. Two fourth grade students were approached by a man in a red SUV while riding their bikes near the intersection of Pulaski and Elwood Roads. The boys reported that a man in a red SUV stopped near them, called to them, took their photograph, and drove away. The children rode their bikes to one of the boy’s homes to report the incident to his mother. They described the man as bald, in his late 30’s, and having light complexion. The parents immediately contacted the police.
While we do not know the intentions of this individual, we are treating the incident seriously and are working with authorities to ensure that our children remain safe. Please take this opportunity to remind your child how to respond when approached by a stranger. We will continue work with you in our efforts to maintain a safe community for our students.

Yes. Also in Greenlawn someone just emailed me
at the intersection of tanglewood and arbutus
I hope someone is prepared to get his camera & his windshield smashed to bits.
