No friends pregnant
I am feeling very alone the last couple of days. I have no friends that are pregnant at all. I just feel like i am in such a different place and actually feel like I have nothing to say when I do hang out with them. It just feels soo terrible... Any advice??

aww, I was in the same predicament when I was preggo with #1, I spent so much time with my Mom and my grandmother so i felt the motherly bind, plus they shared so much with me and now I am so happy that I had that special time with them with no othe interruptions. ask your OB if they have any Mommy to be groups, i am woring with 2 local OBs in getting Mommy to be hroups to form an they have said that other practices have them up and running

Andrea, I felt the same as you when I was pregnant with Julia. ThankGod I had my sister who has 2 kids (4 &2) to hang out with.
I did join Gymboree with Julia when she was 6 months old and met some other mom's there with kids the same age as Julia, and now we have playdates together once a week.

None of my friends are pregnant either. It never really bothered me in the beginning when they didnt invite me to go out to the bar with them but now it kind of does. I guess b/c it has been so long. I feel left out. But they do make time to just come over and hang out and watch a movie with me once in awhile.

me to, it is just me and that is it! gets boring after a while, but I am not in the mood most of the time to put up with the out scene anymore!! Dh and I have been spending a lot more time together and that makes me happy!

Same Here DH and I have spent alot more time togather. And to tell you the truth I just don't have the energy to go out and do the out thing whether it's dinner shopping or what. I can't even walk the whole mall anymore I am so tired all the time

my advice is to log on often! your freinds are here! and many of your friends might secretly wish to be your shoes, you never know...try to just think of all the positves!

We are the only one of DH's friends having a baby. It's kind of hard b/c we are sooo in that place in our lives and just the get married and have kids kind of couple that his friends get annoyed that he just can't go "play" like he used to.
The first time around, NO ONE I knew was pregnant. It was kind of lonely.

OMG me too!!I totally understand... none of my friends are preggo either!! They're all into the club/bar thing and I used to be to up into about 3 months ago... It does get very loney...
Where are you all from?? We should meet up for dinner one night!

None of my friends or family were pg when i was pg with DD. It's finally now i am pg with #2 that my SIL is pg, a couple weeks ahead of me.
Don't feel bad, try to stay in touch with them.
Dh and i spend more time at home than we used too when DD came, we had too, i was not about to take my kid to a bar or a restaurant at 10pm.
Some friends got distant, some got even closer, you kinda see who are real friends and who were with you just for the fun.
