Next time I am having a summer baby!
I hate that I can't enjoy their skinny little arms and legs and feet - they're always covered up in tons of layers!  Today I had t-shirts on them and put the heat up just so I could see their little arms!

Laura I totally think the same thing!!! I wish I could just have him in a onesie all day and have his legs and arms out....but in my case they are not skinny...they are chunky!!!

Yea- but I bet if you were 9 months preg. in August- you'd be saying you'd want a winter baby

Well I had a January baby, and I thought the same thing. HOWEVER upon rethinking this, a winter baby is great. So you have the kid in January, by the time you are ready to go out and be social its maybe March, than you meet some people, make some friends and boom...its April and the weather is getting nice so you can start sitting outside maybe drinking coffee...then its summer and your baby can sit up, so afternoons in the part are wonderful, then by October your kid is more mobile, so you can meet up at cafe's, playgrounds, playgroups, and by Christmas the kid can walk...then, back to work. Sounds good tom e!

i know!!! they have all these cute little onesies w/ sayings on them that no one ever sees. the only time i see their cute little babyfat is at bath time & changing. and being stuck in the house s*cks!!!!

I can tell you first hand being pregnant in the summer sux!! I did it twice. Pregnant with twins during the summer EVEN worse!! But, worth it in the end!!

Sydney's birthday is in January which worked out pretty well except I wish it was in a warmer time of year so I can use my backyard for her birthday parties.

See I disagree! I had my son the end of May and I HATED being stuck indoors for the months of June and July! It absolutely killed me that I missed most of the summer. It was way to hot to walk around with him and we very rarely walked outside.
I can't wait next time to have a winter baby!

Oh and the other thing is stuffing them in a car seat as teeny tiny little infants with 1,000 layers - they are too small for their clothes and they are lost in them, so trying to get them in a car seat or stroller is  !!!! I think if they're in just onesies and no coat and hat it would be so much easier!

Give birth in April! Its perfect. Your not pregnant in the summer. As soon as the baby is born you can go outside with her. And in the heat of the summer, she is a little older so you don't have to worry too much about taking her outside.
I was aiming for a June baby- but next time I want another April one.
