new years plans foiled UPDATED
we had plans and now our friends decided not to have a party at their house..any ideas last minute of what we can do?? i always wanted to go to atlantic city for new years but gosh it is SOOO expensive to go!! 
WOOOOHHOOOOO we decided to go to Atlantic City anyway!!! I can't wait!!! wish me luck!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

oh no!! what are all the other people that were going to the party going to do (are they friends of yours as well??) maybe you can throw an impromptu NYE party at your place?

its usually only about 6-8 of us and unfortunately my house is in such a shambles from renovating that dh won't let me have everyone here and none of them have places big enough besides the original couple

we did the AC thing one year and it was awesome. Not sure you'll get anything this late - but look around the immediate area. You may be able to find something not too terrible. You can probably forget staying on the boardwalk

there were only 2 rooms left on the whole boardwalk so we have to stay at the tropicana..but hey i'm just happy to have found a room!!!!

you are very lucky! We just came back yesterday from the Plaza...it was packed!!!!
