Me no likey.. hard to describe it, but its just not a "Jeep looking" vehicle to me!
Oh yeah, my DH also wants the new Wrangler Unlimited..

I love the 1984 Jeep Renegade my DH bought and restored... No top, no doors, too bad we don't use it too often now that we have kids! I'll post a pic if I can find one.

We are Jeep freaks over here.
I have a 97 Cherokee (that we are selling)
And we have a 94 Wrangler (that we are selling)
Momma needs a new truck - so the toys have to go  
We love them.
I am looking into the buying the new Cherokee.
Not too wild about the Compass or the Commander (not alot of leg room).

that is exactly what I would love-a 78 CJ.
I had a new wrangler, lifted it and put swampers on it, then goodrich all terrains, and the jeep just could not hang. I want something older that we can have a great time in. Does your dad live in SI? I never see any cool jeeps on SI

 I know the feeling I sold my jeep 5 years ago and DH still brings it up that he was against it anytime we see one. The transmission was shot, power steering pump was constantly gone, some punk had sliced my soft top, and DH still sulks.

Nope he lives out on eastern LI. His jeep is cool a friend built it. It is a 78 chassis, with a new tub. So the interior is new such as the dashboard and gauges but everything else is old.
