New Dr. appt tonight **UPDATE**
I'm trying a new doctor because I really didn't like the one I was going to. I'm 12 weeks and although we have seen the heartbeat we still haven't heard it yet so I'm hoping that happens tonight.
UPDATE:
So i LOVE the new doctor!! I am so glad I went with my gut feeling and tried someone new. The office/doctor/staff was night and day in comparison to the other practice. They were sooooo patient, answered all of my questions and took a long time to do the sonogram and make sure that I was able to see literally every part of the baby. We also finally got to hear the heartbeat. The doctor says everything looks perfect and I have to go for my ultrascreen tomorrow.

Good luck.
I wasn't able to hear the heartbeat at my 12w appt with the doppler - but, I got a quick sono and we could see it. I did get to hear it though at my ultrascreen 2 days later (their equipment was better).

Yea my old dr. had equipment that just looked outdated. I see some people's sonos on here and think they look so clear! mine just looks like a blob! So im hoping this equipment is better and that the dr. is more patient - the other one rushed me out every time I went

Good luck at your appt tonight with the new doctor!
Mention to him/her that you haven't heard the heartbeat yet. I'm sure they'll let you hear it. They may need to for their own records anyway.
