Neocate v. elecare....which one do you think is tolerated better.

with gas and spitting up. Is one thicker than the other?

Neither is thicker..elecare seems to be better tolerated according to many GI docs..keep in mind these formulas can be constipating...DD went through it a bit in the beginning, i had to give her prune juice

its weird. my DS is on elecare and he can go a few days without pooping but then when he goes its not hardChat Icon just the exact opposite.

My GI claims that are the same. I used Elecare in the beginning because thats what he had samples of, but we switched to Neocate because my insurance only covers Neocate. My GI told me I could thicken it with Beechnut cereal (he says it works the best), but I chose not to. I found they both worked the same for my DD.
