Not sure if it's original enough for what you are looking for, but Lord and Taylor often has some really pretty dresses. I never found anything online that was nice enough or didn't look cheezy.

etsy... I know dmangel (Donna) had two awesome ones for her girls, davenjess (Jess) and Megan (sorry Meg, help me out...can't remember your name here!) had one that was great too!!
