Need recommendations for RE lawyer
Can anyone recommend their RE lawyer? It's mandatory to have on in NYS, right?
Also, do we need a separate title closer? If so, any recs?

It isn't mandatory to have a RE attorney in NY you can represent yourself but I wouldn't recommend it. There are so many rules in NY that aren't anywhere else so it great to have someone looking out for your best interest. As for teh title closer. Your RE attorney will order a title report and when it is time to close will tell the title company and the title company will send a title closer. Nothing that you need to worry about. I will FM you an attorney that i used and use to work with.

Stephen Pergolizzi 631-499-4977 (Commack) He has an office in Brooklyn on Ave U too but Im not 100% sure of the #...
Reliable Abstract did my closing. I think it's Stephen's brother's company...they did a great job...

We had no issues, no problems...everything went smoothly from Contract to Closing.
