Need quick opinions - menu for party
need to decide this afternoon
This is for DD 1st birthday. It is a sit down lunch. There will be a separate childrens menu.
Salad, pasta, main entree and dessert.
So for the main adult entree we are allowed to pick 3 things. We are thinking
Chicken Francais
Prime Rib
Grilled Salmon
We also can have Chicken Parm or Veal Parm.
Should we leave as is or substitue Chicken or Veal parm for something? If so what?

i would do the chix parm not the veal.. some people are not fond of the veal idea.. also a pasta dish.. baked ziti.. is this for the babys bday?? i would def have a dish of chix fingers for them as well!

that all sounds yummy (except the salmon never goes when we are at a party)
I agree with the above poster .....eggplant or penne a la vodka or something(there may be vegetarians)

Yes, 1st birthday lunch. There will be separate children's menu with all the good stuff , salad and pasta will be served 1st.

It's fine as is but I would take the veal out. Maybe it's because i'm a veal hater...
Actually if you do the chicken parm then I would take out the chicken francese. You don't really need 2 chicken choices.

Yeah I agree as well on taking out the Salmon and putting the Eggplant Parm. It's a better choice than salmon. So now if you put in the eggplant parm then you should take out the chicken parm choice and change it back to chicken francese.

I like it the way it is. But personally I love Chicken Parm. You could exchange that for the francais.

I would not waste a choice for the vegetarians, they always have something for them.
Find out what they will do for the people that don't eat meat. I always get a good pasta dish when I go anywhere.
