Need opinions on what to wear to wedding

DH and I are in the bridal party for SIL's wedding and SIL wants us to take DS down the aisle with us. DS will be 5.5 months at the wedding. The BMs are wearing light pink tea length dresses. The ring bearer (DH's half brother) is wearing a pink polo shirt and blue seersucker jacket and overalls (it looks more like shorts with suspenders). The wedding is on a Saturday night at FIL's country club.

SIL is really laid back and doesn't care what DS wears. I've tried to find a reasonably priced seerksucker outfit, but haven't really found one. I saw this in Macy's, but I'm not sure I love it (it may be hard to tell, but the stripes are light blue):



I thought the linen suit from the Children's Place was really cute even though it doesn't match what the ring bearer is wearing.


If I chose this suit, what should I put under it: button down shirt with tie, with a sweater vest, or just the shirt? Also, what color shirt should I get? I guess I'd also need to get little shoes too.

Would you choose either of these outfits or should I continue looking?

I don't think you need to match with seersucker. I do think that white outfit is cute though. I know you said that SIL is laid back, but could you ask for some guidance from her? Just ask her if she'd like DS to wear a jacket like the ring bearer. Personally, I think a jacket is too much at 5.5 months. Also, if this is in the summer, that would be hot.

With that being said, if you choose to do the suit, I wouldn't put a vest under it. Too many layers for child that barely even rolls. If the ring bearer isn't wearing a tie, I see no need for DS to wear one. I'd just do a pink polo shirt if you can find one like the ring bearer or any other button down shirt.
