Can someone explain why I am 1.5 lb heavier than yesterday but I ate very good, very healthy, drank water, ate fruits and did a little workout (very little but still).

I don't understand!

TIA

Re: Need input

Could be hormones--your menstrual cycle, could be you ate more sodium than normal, could be you are constipated and need to take a good poop.
That is why I never ever weigh myself daily.
You will drive yourself nuts.

Just keep doing what you are doing and maybe weigh yourself once a week.
I personally don't weigh myself at all. I go by how my clothes fit.

Yeah that's probably better. I know myself, I put on about 5 lbs of water a week or more before my period. It's terrible.

If you do weight yourself daily, there are apps that help you see the weight trend instead of focusing on the daily ups and downs. I can drop 2 lbs in day and then gain 4 the next day. My weight is logged in my fitbit app, and it makes a graph with the averages, so I can see the downward trend over time. Weight each day depends on a million things, so you need to focus on the trend rather than each weigh in.

Thank you! I don't have a fitbit. Which apps can I use?

I was going to recommend daily weigh ins as well. It’s important to look at trends not day to day weight. I’m not sure about specific apps though. I have a smart scale at home that links to my phone.
