Need for a nice restaurant for our anniversary
Someone offered to babysit DS so we can go out on Saturday night for our anniversary.
We usually go to Ruth Chris in Carle Place but would like to find something else this time.
Nice restaurant
Does not have to be steak house
No spicy food
$150 max for 2

hmmmm you have many options! Have you ever been to Black Stone on 110, not romantic but has a nice atmosphere for drinks

I like the Melting Pot in Farmingdale. Its fondue, but its very romantic. Last time we were there they put us in a private booth infront of the fireplace. We had SUCH a great time. We only did the chocolate and cheese because the fondue meats are just okay.
Have a "Love Martini!!" 
If you want steak that is AWESOME, go to "Tellers" (I believe its Islip) It a little more east but OMG!!! the best steak and atmosphere ever.

There is Mac Steakhouse in Huntington, Black and Blue which is fairly new in Huntington as well (They have outside seating), Prime is nice and then there is my personal favorite, Mill Pond in Ceterport which is right on the water and such a cute, romantic place.

DH and I went to Tesoro's on Hempstead Turnpike for Valentine's Day our first year of dating, and it was really nice and romantic. It's an Italian place. Food was delicious!

The Ivy Cottage on Hillside Avenue in Williston Park (next to Peter Andrews). It's really cute inside, the food is awesome and it's kinda romantic too.

The only Tesoro I know is the one on Old Country Road in Westbury (which happens to be excellent). Never knew of one on Hempstead Tpke?

many kids are there and the food is causal
i would not recommend for an anniversary- more like a casual dinner
