Need Fashion Help! Dress Related For Xmas Party For Tonight
I have a red dress, but I'm unsure of the shoes and stockings. It's knee length. I have NO shoes and really no time to get any since this was last minute! I only have black dressy ones. Will that look stupid with the red dress? What about stockings? I hate to go bare legged since I'm pasty so could I wear black stockings? Or Nude? I'm such a fashion disaster

if not, black dress shoes and nude stockings are good i think...

do u have hight black boots? that would be good
if not, black dress shoes and nude stockings are good i think...
I do, but I don't think I should wear them though. The function is a formal one at Lombardi's. I'm thinking boots might make the dress a little too casual looking, I think anyway!

black opaque tights/stockings and black shoes is fine.
What does the dress look like?

Black shoes are fine. Stocking color is personal preference-I'd go with nude, b/c it lookd like bare legs with looks dressier to me--tights & opaque stocking seem more casual to me, but some people hate nude stockings.

My dress..it's a red empire waist knee length with a some long pieces of fabric hanging down in the front. It's actually cute and I got it at Walmart this morning on my way to work  I went in there looking for a black shawl for the other dress I was going to wear and they didn't have anything so I walked out with something else
