need a gift certificate idea.....
My sister in law and her husband live on the upper east side and i wanted to get them a gift certificate for something in NY for christmas... any ideas on great restaurants or something a little different to do in NYC??

One of my friends gave DH and I a gift certificate to the restaurant in Rockefeller Center and to go ice skating. I thought that was a really cute idea.

Broadway.com Tickets
get them a gift certificate. They can then choose any show at any time to see.

There are tons of great restuarants in the upper east side. What kind of food do they like?
Are they into art? An annual membership to a museum would be a great gift for some.
You can also always give them a spa gift certificate to a spa that does couples massages.

There are so many great Italian restuarants on the UES. I like Firenze. If they have a family- Tony Dinapoli is a great place. Do they want somethign a little more romantic- do a search on citysearch.

I like the Broadway.com gift certificates. I received that from my boss once.
We're getting my boss cooking classes at the Culinary Institute, if you think that might suit them...
