Nebulizer moms
DS was prescribed albuterol last week. Sat, DH took DS back to the ped and she gave him budesonide as well. DH thought the ped said to mix them together and give them at the same time. DS gave it to him the last few times and didn't notice that they made a bubbly mixture by the end. Now he's not sure if the ped said you could mix them  .
Anyone know? I don't want to call the ped now.

If you can't call the Ped, call the pharmacy and ask them, but I would wait until you can talk to the Ped.

I've read on lifamilies that people mix them. I give them seperately. Usually budesonide in the morning and before bed with albuterol in between every 4 hours or 3 if they're really sick.

Thanks for the replies. I never got around to calling the ped today, but will have to speak to her anyway tomorrow. For now, I stopped mixing them.
