Nassau Dinner recommendations?
We want to go out to eat to a place that isn't commercial, isn't gourmet where you get a bite as a meal, has a nice, sit down environment that is intimate, and we aren't in the mood for italian. lol Any suggestions?

we LOVE Jonathans on jericho trpk (acroos from uncle bacalas) I think it is New hyde park. I would consider in American, mix of lots of things. and the prices we find reasonable!!

I happen to love Louies Oyster Bar in Port Washington, though it isn't "intimate" - great food though if you like seafood.

farmingdale has a place called terry G's real local...great steak :)
there is also a great Thai place here too
Tiny thai...
Freeport for seafood?
