Naps-11-12 month olds? Also 1 year olds..
What does your 11-12 month old nap?
Mine sometimes gives me 1 long nap in the am 1 1/2-2 hours or so, then no more naps.
Or i get 2 40 min naps, one in the late am and one in the afternoon.
She sleeps 11-12 hours a night.
HOw does your 1 year old nap?

At 1 I think we were still on 2 naps a day but it wasn't long after that we moved to one long nap. It started to be from 11-1, then slowly moved later and now she goes down anytime between 12:30-2 and sleeps anywhere between 1&1/2-3 hours. It just depens on the day.

My DS is 11 months and he's pretty much in a 2 nap routine but the length varies. Usually a 1 hour nap and a 2 hour nap. Or 2 1 hour naps. He sleeps about 10-11 hours at night.
Both my older kids lost the second nap around a year but the afternoon nap would be 3 hours sometimes.

My DD who just turned 1 year old does exactly the same as what you wrote. I think around 1 year old they start to pass up the two naps and do one long one, but I'm not 100 percent sure on that. At daycare she usually does one, when she is home with me it is usually a longer one in the morning and a shorter one in the afternoon.

15 1/2 mths old...1 nap (normally) that is 2 hours long (sometimes 3) from 11-1.
sleeps 12-13 hrs at night.

13 months and sometimes one nap, sometimes 2.
Today she took a 40 minute nap in the AM then 1 1/2 in the PM.
If she takes a long one in the AM then I usually don't get one in the PM.
But I am still having trouble making her morning nap later b/c she gets up so damn early

Our little on who just turned 1 recently also naps once daily. He naps usually 1.5 hrs, sometimes 2 hrs. He sleeps 10-11 hrs during the night.
He had his doc's appt today for his 1 yr check up and I asked the doc if it was ok that he was only sleeping 12 hrs all together, and he said if he is acting fine.....not to worry. So, I won't

DS sleeps 11-12 hours a night. He usually sleeps 1-2 hours in the morning and then I try and get him to take an afternoon nap which is always 30 minutes now. Some days he doesnt have it though.

Thanks everyone! Gianna threw me today, 1 1/2 hours this am and 40 mins this afternoon. So unpredictable, plus she finally went to sleep on her own, I haven't been able to put her in the crib and walk away for naps since she was 10 months old!
