Nanny/Childcare
For those of you who have someone come in to your home to take care of your baby, where did you find them??? I am in the process of having to start my search and only want someone to come here. Please let me know if you have any ideas...thanks

We got our AMAZING nanny through my sister's nanny. It seems that all of the people I know who have excellent nannies got them through others, rather than through agencies. When you are at the park, etc., and see a nanny who impresses you, ask her if she has any friends. Give her your number. Don't be shy. This has worked for a lot of people I know. Good luck!

as far as a nanny, is this someone who lives with you, or someone who comes to the house based on your schedule?
also, if you dont mind, how much do you usually pay per week for something like this? thanks!
