name some furniture stores? or where to buy furniture?
Okay girls... i live way out east (east Hampton) so everywhere i need to go is west.
I want to go looking for furniture for our bedroom, some living room furniture, etc but i have no idea where to go. Any help would be appreciated.
Remember i live out east so the closer, the better.

ethan allan, thomasville, pier one has a lot of special order stuff,
raymore & flanigan but that's really west, there are a million stores on 110 in farmingdale

I have never purchased anything on 110-I live east too & have gotten most of my stuff from smaller stores. There is a small privatly owned store on Sunrise Hwy in Bohemia that I bought a ton of stuff from almost ten years ago, it was really affordable-the sofas were made by ashley & they are still in great condition. There is a big furniture stor in Medford on 112 too, but I don't know about the quality. Also Penn Furniture, my mother bought all her stuff there years ago.

Try Country Manor in Rocky Point. We bought our bedroom set from them, but they sell kitchen, DR and lounge furniture. They're located down the road from Majestic Gardens on 25A.

oh i know! i'm there almost every other night!!!  But we really need to get some actual bedroom furniture... a set perhaps.

110 would be Raymour Flannigans, Levitz, The Place
and then a few others I can"t think of off the top of my head right now

There is a Raymour & Flannigan on 25 (Middle Country Rd) near the Smithhaven mall.
Also, Penn Furniture on 112 is good. It's near Port Jeff but that is not the town. South of 347.

There is also Ethan Allen (a few miles further up north past the mall in Huntington)

probably at least half of the business on a stretch of 110 are all furniture stores.

drexel heritage, ethan allen, thomasville and domain.

I agree.
There are a bunch of places on Rt 110 we just went shopping around to all the stores when we were looking.

yeah it was really bad yesterday. My husband and i were cracking up because some of the stuff we saw... was just hideous! And it stinks because we'd like to have either a black or white coffee/end table but it doesn't appear that there are that many made in either color.
We went to about 6 stores and came up empty handed.
