My wonderful experience at Red Lobster today...
went to eat w/my friend, her son who is 5, my mom and my DD. We ask for a table for 4 and they see the baby in the car seat (no stroller). We finally get called and the guy is bringing us to a table where my DD doesn't fit, so I ask if we can have a bigger booth and he looks at me and says you can't put the baby on the floor. Ok..I don't want to put her on the floor, nor would I because she's in a seat. I just want a booth where she will fit sideways and this booth is too small. He proceeds to ask his manager andt manager says no..so I ask why I can't have a bigger booth and he says let me see what I can do? AT this point I"m scratching my head thinking ok maybe I'm not speaking english??
So we go sit down to wait again..and I say..what would he like me to do w/her car seat? He brings me this hammock looking thing to put her in and I say I'm sorry but she's 2 months old and I cannot put her in there, and she has a seat that she is in. How hard is it to give us a booth that is bigger..you have them, I see them? So FINALLY they seem to GET what I'm asking for and they give us a booth. Alleliuah right?
So finally we are on our way to go and some woman who had a party of 6..says why do they get to have a table before us, and the guy says because their party is smaller. She starts ranting on and on and all the while we are waiting to be seated, so I get fed up and say "we are getting a table before you because we were here before you". She actually started walking towards me (mind you I'm carrying my daughter over my shoulder) and I stop and wait because I'm thinking I KNOW you are not going to try and hit me because if you do it is ON!!!! She proceeds to yell "*****..don't be mad at me.." and the rest I didn't even bother listening to because I told her she was pathetic as I walked away laughing and sat down to eat BEFORE HER!! What's funny is a few of the waiters came over to me and said "do you want us to knock her out for you?" And I laughed.
All of that to eat some damn shrimp!! I know I know we should have left, but my godson really wanted to eat Red Lobster. I just think it's unbelievable and pretty disgusting that someone would get so stupid over a damn table, when she sat down right after us. Wait your turn just like everyone else!!

Hasn't that women been to a restaurant before?.... ANY restaurant? All restaurants that I've been to seat parties based on available tables vs. number of guests. Parties of 1 or 2 almost always get seated before larger parties, even if they just show up.
Some people just shouldn't be allowed out in public.....

Holy cow. 
I would have wanted to shove one of those live lobsters down her friggen throat and stab her right in her jugular with a crab claw. Unbelievable.

You should have grabbed a lobster out of the tank,clipped the rubber band and attached the claw to her nose

Not one of my favorite spots to eat, but since my godson wanted it...I went. Last time I do that..that's for sure!

I can't believe they gave you such a problem over a table, its really sad that they couldn't figure it out sooner....
That other woman was mad you were sitting before he because she couldn't wait to stuff her face!!!

you're in the bronx right..
next time he asks for RL, take him to a "real" seafood joint! City Island must have TONS.
it's not a restaurant. it's fast food with waiters. sadly, the treat you like that.
