My very first post on LIF & question about BC
First of all, i am new to this site & board. my name is sandy
well, i went off BC this weekend & we are trying to conceive. I was on Loestrin for about 5 years. When do i expect my period?? i guess my system is out of wack & may take awhile to adjust. also, i skipped the placebo pills for the past 2 months because i didn't want to get my period on my wedding day. just very anxious to get it back on track & get down to business with trying to have a baby

Hi Sandy! Welcome! My name is Stacy! I got off the pill in December and my period was a bit out of sequence for about 3 months. I got it in January, skipped February, again in March and now between 26-30 days since then.
It's different for everyone though!
My advice is to pay close attention to your cycles and write stuff down.

trying to still figure out how to add my account info.
for some reason i was expecting it right away. when i went on the placebo pills, i was always spotting. so i expcted something. ugh. i was afraid of that. but thanks for the info. i thought it was just me.

i was on Loestrin as well. I stopped taking it at the end of my pack and got AF a few days later (on time). The next month, my cycle was very long (36 days). I've been off a year now and my cycle has adjusted. Everyone is different in how your body will adjust. Good luck to you!

I went off BC at the end of March and still no AF. However, I had very irregular periods before the pill (like 5 a year) so I think it will take me some time. I go back to the doctor in 2 months and if still no AF than we will investigate.
