My Twitter Sucess Story (parented related)
So awhile ago we bought E this car from Little Tikes
When we put it together the front wheels and/or the chassis of the car was defective ( we weren't sure which part). I kinda forgot about it and collected dust in the garage. Since the weather has been getting better we took another stab at putting it together thinking we did something wrong the first time. Well, we couldn't get it together again. My Dad also tried when he was over one day.
I emailed customer service explaining the problem and asked how I could order new front wheels. Over the course of about 4 emails going back and forth they told me they could not help me bc I no longer had the receipt. 
So I decided to take my rant to social media. I wrote a bad review on a bunch of review sites and I started posting a few things on Twitter (about 4 Tweets). Next thing you know, "Little Tikes" is following me and sending me direct messages to correct the problem. They sent me an email address of a real person and again I explained that I was not looking for anything free, I just wanted to buy replacements parts. Next thing you know, they CALLED me at work, apologized up and down and told me they are sending me a new car!!  Apparently my car is defective and they've had a number of complaints about it.

Excellent!!!
I caught a glitch in some software that I use at work. I posted something about it on a list serve that I belong to. I just wanted to warn other people about how they could avoid a problem. The company then called me and said that they would issue a new version of the software for all subscribers. My claim to fame is that version 5.3.2 (or something like that) came about because of me!
I'm not on twitter but it's starting to sound like it is worthwhile!
