my TOTAL MONEY MAKEOVER update
some of you know that i'm a big lover of dave ramsey and his total money makeover 
i'm, currently, on BABY STEP #3
today i went to the bank, made a deposit, and changed some of my automated savings.
i am happy to announce to anyone who wants to listen that i am 1% into month 3 of my FFEF... for those who don't know the "lingo"  i am about 33% done with saving up my 6-month emergency fund.
side note: i am more financially secure now than i ever was being married with two incomes.
yay me!

another congratulations! I read the book a while back and I am a big advocate of the emergency fund, even before this economy. Keep up the good work!

Congrats!!! I just started the total money makeover myself! I am on baby step #2, the debt snowball. I am so glad I started this whole process and I am SO looking forward to getting out of this financial mess. I can't wait to hear about your progress as you go!

first- I am so proud of you!
second- I am more financially secure now as well....you hear so many stories about how woman are the ones the suffer financailly after a marriage ends...glad it not the case for either of us!
