My sweet, loving little girl melted my heart today..
Just wanted to share such a sweet (but painful for me) moment for me today with my precious little girl!
I was drying my hair and she was playing in behind me. She dropped something and when it fell to the floor, I thought it was her. I spun around and while I did so, I poked myself in the eye with my brush. One of the bristles scratched the INSIDE of my eye and it was so painful!! I screamed OW and put my head down. Well my little girl, literally CLIMBED over all her toys to get to me. She was in a corner..which meant she had to climb over her blocks, her ride on elephant (which she usually is afraid to go near, I have no idea why?) and all her toys scattered on the floor. All the while saying "MAMAAAA Are you ok?? OK?? OK??"
She melted my heart. I swear the pain (for that moment) disappeared and I just saw my daughter concerned about her mommy. When she got to me, she said up, up and gave me the biggest hug! Moments like those make every hard time being a parent, well worth it! I cant believe my baby is turning into a loving, compassionate little girl.
I just wish her ability to ease my pain lasted..because my eye is KILLING ME! Just wanted to share!
