My poor girl-- long
I posted yesterday how she threw up at MIL's, and then all over herself in the car on the way home. Got home with her at 5:15ish and her temp was 103.5. Gave her Tylenol, took her to ped...said it's a virus, give Pedialyte (sp?), no food, etc. Started the Pedialyte slowly as recommended, seemed like she was doing fine...then threw it all up over an hour after having the last sips.  She was sooooo warm. Took her temp around 10pm, it was 105.3 
Immediately called the ped, he was sooo great and helpful...DH went out and got Children's Motrin which did WONDERS. At that point, she was only sleeping while we held her, did not want to be put down. When the Motrin finally started to settle in, she actually motioned towards her bedroom  and I put her in her crib, she curled up on her belly with her butt in the air  and went fast to sleep. She wanted to be put down, my poor girl. And she slept in there from about 11:15 to 6:15 this morning with not so much as a peep-- she was exhausted and still is!
When DH took her out of the crib this morning, she got sick a bit on him, but has been asking for her cup (it's her new favorite word!) all morning, so we're trying water/Pedialyte again. So far, so good. She's still a bit warm and not acting like herself, but hopefully I can start getting some fluids and eventually solids to stay in her.
Thanks for listening. I HATE, HATE, HATE when she's not feeling well

Thanks gals! I have a question to, for the BTDT moms, since I'm not really familiar with DD throwing up.
Should I be trying to give her some bread or something too? You know, to actually help absorb some of the fluids, instead of fluids just hitting her empty belly?

I'm sure it wouldn't hurt Maybe little pieces of toast...I know my mom always gave me toast when I wasn't feeling well...but I was a bit older, so I'm not sure what to do when the youngin's get this sick

Thanks, that's what I always got too when I was sick (and still do!). She was literally walking through the kitchen saying "mmmm, mmmm" which is how she usually begs for food, so I am giving her pieces of whole grain bread (not toasted, she wouldn't wait  ). Hopefully it stays down 
My kid is NEVER hungry, never WANTS to eat, so this is hard that she wants to eat but can't.

Oh no - poor baby (and mommy and daddy too)
Children's Motrin works WONDERS. It's like baby crack!
Hope she is feeling better today!
They also have those pedialyte ice pops - maybe she would like those?

they're like little heating pads when they're sick...
I remember how painful it was for ME to see DS like that...

I'm so sorry!! I know how hard it is when they are sick! Sounds like she is a real trooper though!! I hope she feels better soon!
