my mom is home from the hospital!
she had knee replacement surgery two weeks ago yesterday and was released - i was nervouse about her going home and navigatig the stairs up to her house, but she called and said it was not so bad. she is still on pain meds but says the pain is different from what she is used to and certainly much better than what she was dealing with - even though she has a ways to go still, she is already saying she might wind up getting her other one done in a few yrs!
she is also much friendlier than she has ever been (for those who might remember the drama she has caused me beofre and after our wedding) and we are getting along well, dh says she just might have been so miserable from the pain, she had no idea she was making everyone else so miserable! so big  to my mom!

Glad to hear your mom is feel okay and that things are starting to get better!!
We should make lunch plans again for this summer-- I'm always up for Bertuccis!!

that sounds good, but until mid august i am running a camp out east m-fri, but once I finish look out bertuccis (i think i hear the bread and oil mixutre calling!  )
