My kid hates the infant seat - just like his brother
WHY does this happen? The second I put him in the seat he screams bloody murder. I spend half the time driving on edge because I hate hearing him cry so much. It took me 10 minutes to do a 2 minute drive because I had to keep stopping to pop the paci back in.
Is there any solution to this?
Jack was out of the infant seat at 2 months - and I REALLY want to keep Tyler in it for much longer - it is soooooo easy and convenient, especially with a toddler.
I have a mirror with music and lights - he could care less about that right now.

my DS hates it too and he's 4 months now! funny b.c my colciky fussy DD was a huge fan of it. was like the only time she was ever quiet. my sweet, easy going DS turns into a monster in it! so strange! i wonder why?

i wish i had a solution for you, but nothing worked for my ds. He hated it for a LONG time.

They sell a mini mobile at buy buy baby--u attach it to the handle,it rotates and plays music, was a huge lifesaver!!!!!

my DD hated it too, i took her out at 3 months... i couldnt stand the screaming.
my DS loved his seat.
granted its a PITA now but, its better then hearing her scream bloody murder for what feels like hours at a time

wow!! my DS sleeps in his carseat..once he's in it in the car..he goes right out. a few nites during his screaming fits, DH popped him in and drove him in the car..LOL.
Is it the same seat you used with your first son? maybe its the incline or position of the seat that is making them uncomfy?

This was the only thing that worked for DS but he hated it until about 4 months.
You need to sit Jack closer and teach him to pop it back in Tyler's mouth

I keep telling myself I have to buy this.. I'm no help. My DD (now almost 4 months old) screams every time I strap her into the infant seat, thankfully she calms down once shes done being buckled in but I HATE buckling her in in public its so embarassing and I feel so bad!

Derek hates when I first put him in the carseat. Usually once the car starts moving he stops screaming. Sometimes if we have to stop at a light he gets pizzed but once we move he is fine again.
I have a mirror in front of him so I can see him through the rear view mirror. He likes to look at himself. Maybe try that.

i know it's not good to have 'stuff' there - but we use this: 
The Hop Along Carrier Toybar. She LOVES it - it lights up, plays music, makes noise...etc.
