my hacking cough
I thought I was getting better, now it feels like its getting worse.
coworkers were all worried, and now I've been up the last two hours with it.
Robittussin isn't helping. I've been trying to drink chilled powerade for hydration.....
Do I need to go see the regular dr in addition to the OB now? I have an OB appt tonight already.... worried the OB might not be able to diagnose if its whooping cough or croup

It also might just be pregnancy related I had a bad cough my entire pregnancy.....it went away the day I gave birth

but it had me up from 2-4 overnight.... i finally took some kids tylenol to help the feeling of the sore throat to try and get some sleep.
This morning the Robittussin is worn off and the cough seems more productive, but I still can't find uncontrolled hacking to be healthy.

I am going through the exact same thing. I barely slept the last couple of nights because i can't stop coughing. My throat is so sore. Robitussin helps during the day but I can't figure out how to not cough at night. Did youmaskmyour doc? What did he/she say?
I think I may call mine today. Feel better!

I had mine through the entire pregnancy and would be up all night coughing. I would keep DH up with it. It disappeared the day I gave birth.
During pregnant you make extra mucus and cal get a cough or constant runny nose because of it

I had a bad cold and cough around 16ish weeks. The cough lasted 4 weeks and kept me up at night quite a few times. See what the OB says. I didn't go to my PCP until I had the cough for about 3 weeks. My lungs were clear. It just took time for me to get better. Saline drops may help clear some of the mucus out.
