My first post...and I have a question about Park Slope

Hi!! I was a frequent poster on LIW and decided to move over to here now that DH and I are beginning to look for a home

We put an offer on a condo in Park Slope. The sellers have narrowed it down to 3 offers, so keep your fingers crossed!! It they accept our offer, does anyone know of a good inspector in Park Slope.

And if they don't does anyone have any listings in Park Slope?

We just started the process and it is already making me want to

I can't give you any advice, except my SIL lives in Park Slope and it's beautiful. We love going there, taking her kids or our dog to the park and the restaurants are great!!!

Whoa! 8 offers Did they recently lower the price

I didn't get it... turned out to be a scam Yes, they did lower the price which probably generated the new interest, but I guess they have been taking alot of offers b/c they can't really go to contract! I guess there is a violation on the building and there are no financials since 2003!! They are basically collecting alot of offers hoping that someone will look past everything! DH and I are definately not the candidates they are looking for, and if our broker had not been so persistent, we would have probably been dragged along for another week. I guess the saying is, If it is too good to be true, it probably is

Now we are starting over... wish us luck!!
