my ex has two babies :(

eight years ago when i dumped him, i felt very smug, cuz he was a jerk, but now he has a beautiful wife and two beautiful kids (i know through facebook, that evil evil website)

so it wasn't me who was lucky to have dumped him, it was he who was lucky, cuz he would never had kids with me :(

to make matters worse, i may run into him and his perfect family while visiting mutual friends in Texas

i know i'll be fine, i'm really good with all this in front of people, but deep down inside, the whole thing eats at me

OH I hear you. Seems like all my x's are now having kids right now. And don't forget I'm 40 and so are they. Isn't that odd? They could have done this like 10years ago but they are on my time frame and not having the problems we are.

people don't realize how lucky they are to not have to go through what we are

no one can really understand all the issues we face, physical, mental, emotional, marital

Aww - I am so sorry to hear that... I know how hard it is to hear info (or see it for that matter) and then not feel bad for yourself!

And you are completely right - people do not understand the half of the hell that we go through!

I'm sorry!!!! I know it's hard. But you said when you left him you knew he was a jerk, don't worry, they usually don't change, he probably still is!
