My DS needs surgery
I've had a really stressed week. First, my three-year old might have broke his nose. They didn't want to take an Xray b/c of the radiation and said right now there would be nothing to do for it anyway and then they said that he's going to have to have a surgery to make his urethra larger. Has anyone heard of this? I have to find a pediatric urologist now and have no clue. I'm really scared and nervous about this.

They had made him pee in a cup and we just began starting to "try" to potty train him and the way it's coming out seemed weird and I had asked if that was okay.

my son saw Drs. Palmer and Brock from Pediatric Urology Associates in Lake Success (I think that's the name of the practice). Anyway, if you search on Parenting, you will find their number. They are highly recommended.

A few friends' DS's had to get this done a well as my nephew. Although immediatley after the procedure the kids were in some discomfort within a few days things were pretty much back to normal. The parents seem to have a harder time than the patients.
