my cable is frozen
all three of my cable boxes are frozen.i called cable and they walked me thru a "hard boot" and all that. but nothing worked. now noone can come fix the boxes for a week!! with two toddlers, that is NOT going to work for me. anyone know anyone that can come look at my cable??? fm me if you would rather do that. tia

what cable company do you have? I know that you can go and exchange boxes if you have Time Warner at any of their locations...

I would try to unplug and reboot the whole system. Tell cablevision that you expect them to not bill you for a week...see if that gets them moving. Also does your vcr still work maybe the kids can watch videos. That totally stinks!!!!

Plus the cable wire that goes into the cable box directly into your TV. Then you will at least have local channels until they get there to fix your TVs.
