My biggest Dry Cleaning Fear...
came true today. They gave my favorite shirt to someone else - and they have no idea who they gave it to.
I stayed calm - and offered to wait until (hopefully) someone brings it back.
How long should I wait until I ask for money - and how much money should I ask for?
I really can't remember how much the shirt cost.

I would give it a week and then ask.
If they are like most dry cleaners, they have a "cap" as to how much they will give you for something that is lost or stolen. I think mine is $30 per garment.
Sorry that happened to you. I would be ticked!!

Well - I realized it when they handed me someone else's suit. The dry cleaner kept the suit - its already been a week.
