Music Together..the babies class
Did anyone take this class? There is only one offered over the summer and its on sundays. I wanted something during the week. DS is 3 months old...should i just do the mixed ages class.

I go to a music together class at my library. Its offered once a month. I have been taking DS since he was 3 months old and he loves it. Now he is 7 months and we have it tomorrow. Each time we go its a new experience. Look into it. You will enjoy it.

I actuallly posted about this a couple days ago. I think I'm going to check it out too. Which/ where class are you looking into? My dd is 5 months old. I only heard good things about it. Not sure if we're going to do just a babies class or not...maybe it would be good to interact dc with the older kids.

Where is it Rachel? I might do something on weekends with Ryan this summer since I won't have steady days off during the week (unless it's a pay as you go type of thing).

baby class for sure...its geared for his age..mixed classes have lots of older kids running around

I didn't know they had a baby class - but DD is in a mixed class - the kids in our class range from 4 months up to about 18-20 months old.
I think the baby class would be great if your child is under 6 months - but the mixed class (depending on the age range) is nice b/c DD enjoys watching the older kids dance and walk around.
Either way it is a great class

we did the babies class when ds was that age and it was great. i think he got a lot more out of it than he would have gotten from the mixed age class since all the activities and even the songs are geared toward babies. the mixed age class is good too though.

Thanks girls.
The summer schedule is very limited. They only offer one baby class on sundays at 1pm. I would rather not do the middle of the day in the summer, in case we go somewhere or are at the beach. I think I will do the mixed ages class in september. By then DS will be 6 months and wont seem so little in the mixed ages group.
Jess, FM me if you are intersted we can try and coordinate something.
