Mucus plug and labor question?
I was wondering how long after you lose your mucous plug can you go into labor?
Im 2cm dliated and losing my muscous plug and DH is wondering when i might go, i know if could still be a while but im curious how soon it could actually be....

i lost mine in 2 pieces. i think 2 days after losing the last piece my water broke but i was doing squats and a bunch of other things to get labor started. og and 2 days before u had my drs appt and i was completely closed. good luck!!

I lost my plug on Friday, my water broke Monday and Ava was born 1:06am Tuesday.

I lost mine gradually over about 2 weeks... and i was 2 cm dialated for three weeks... sorry to be a bummer on that... BUT i delivered 3 1/2 weeks early

I never really noticed mine coming out until my water had already broken......water broke about 4am.....consistant every 5 minute contractions started at 2pm that afternoon....

Like PP I noticed that I lost it when my water broke. That was at 4:30am, got to the hospital at about 6:30 they said I was 2cm dilated. Contractions didnt start until 7 and she was born at 2:27pm. Everyone is so different. GL

I lost my entire mucus plug on a Monday night and DS was born early Wed morning - good luck!
